FINANCE DEPARTMENT
The Finance Department is charged with a variety of tasks including coordination of the City's annual budget, audit process and grant administration. The Finance Department offers a wide variety of services to the general public and to other departments of the City. The major activities include: payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, audit management, purchasing, data processing, financial planning, budget preparation, receipting and accounting for Municipal Court, banking services, cash management, maintenance of official financial city records, along with the coordination and implementation of related internal controls.
The Finance Director is responsible to the City Manager. Serving under the Finance Director is the accountant, Julie Rushton and Aministrative Specialist Kim Dodrill. The office is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
